Speaker: Dr Alan Kershaw

18:00 – 19:00

followed by discussion and an opportunity to socialise

SYMLS are pleased to welcome Dr Alan Kershaw to give a fascinating talk on the changing relationship between anaesthesia and the law. Based on case studies, Alan’s talk will evaluate the changing legal landscape surrounding anaesthetics over the last 200 years, up to and including present day, domestically and internationally. Two of the cases are ongoing so this is an opportunity to gain insight into an evolving area of law.

Dr Kershaw has had a career in anaesthetics in South Yorkshire and abroad spanning several decades and is a true expert in this field.

The only way to attend this event is in-person at the Law Society Hall, 8 Campo Lane, S1 2EF. There will be complimentary wine and we hope to see old and new faces.
