Protrusion Confusion: Hernia Causation & Medico-legal Implications

SYMLS are pleased to welcome Mr Robin Gupta who will explore difficult and frequently disputed causation issues associated with hernia injuries. Mr Gupta is a General Surgeon working in both NHS and Private Practice, with over 30 years experience in the treatment of hernias. He is regularly instructed to prepare reports in both clinical negligence and personal injury cases. Mr Gupta will explain mechanisms of injury and provide case studies, to demonstrate why they can often cause so much confusion.

Having recently returned from a trip to Africa, Mr Gupta will conclude his presentation with a fascinating account of his charity work with Operation Hernia.
